Jake Blumencranz
Jake is a born and raised Long Islander who grew up in Jericho. He graduated from Rice University (B.A) with a dual degree in Public Policy and Religious Studies. At Rice, Jake was the President of the Rice University College Republicans Chapter. Soon thereafter he went to The London School of Economics to pursue a Master of Science In Regional Urban Planning and Economic Development. (M.Sc)
After returning home to Long Island, he joined his family insurance business as a 4th generation insurance broker, continuing to help serve local clients large and small throughout the community.
Today, Jake continues to contribute to his community as an advisory board member of the Nassau County Police Foundation. He is also an active supporter of many other charitable and local causes.
Jake comes from a large family with 2 brothers and 6 step siblings. He resides on the North Shore of Nassau County.

As we move closer to Election Day this November, you will hear more about my plan to enhance our quality of life and make our communities safer and more prosperous. I look forward to meeting the residents of the 15th Assembly District in the weeks and months ahead. I would be honored to follow in the footsteps of Assemblyman Montesano who will be retiring this year after over a decade of service to our community. We all owe him a great deal of gratitude for protecting our environment by getting much needed funding to clean-up the Grumman Navy Plume and his commitment to protecting our taxpayers.
